HR Advisor | Sony Global HR Platform

Location: Hybrid – Vicente López, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM

About the Role

Sony Global HR Platform is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join our dynamic HR team in Buenos Aires. As the first point of contact for employees and managers, you will provide expert HR support, process HR-related transactions, and ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes. This role will report to the HR Service Delivery Manager and requires strong customer service, data management, and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities

Employee Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and employees for HR-related inquiries.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and processes such as onboarding, offboarding, learning administration, and employment verification letters.
  • Deliver “how-to” process support for employees and managers initiating or completing HR events.

HR Data Management (Workday)

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including organizational, personal, compensation, absence, and leave data.
  • Manage document storage, data updates, and compliance-related HR records.
  • Process mass data uploads when required.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinate the onboarding process, including offer packet preparation, background checks, I-9 processing, and Day 1 readiness.
  • Manage employee offboarding by preparing relevant documentation, managing returns, notifying vendors, and updating payroll.

Administrative & Compliance Support

  • Act as a liaison between HR and Payroll to ensure accurate processing.
  • Support compliance activities, including audit requests, legal postings, and SOX/security processes.
  • Generate and manage standard and customized HR reports.

Project Management & Special Initiatives

  • Assist with special HR projects, process improvements, and testing system changes.
  • Support system enhancements by participating in testing and rollout initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT/IS, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of HR or IT experience, preferably in a corporate, multi-cultural, or global environment.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and HR data management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables required), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English (C1 or above) and Spanish.
  • Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAFe and Agile methodologies.
  • Prior experience in an HR Service Center or customer-oriented environment.
